New Members

Please, please, please , make yourself known to us so we can help you get involved.

The ideal time to do this is on the first tuesday of the month when we hold our committee meetings. There is guaranteed to be a reasonable turn out and there will be people there to talk to about the different types of events that are available for you to enter, what sort of vehicle would be most suitable, and what you need to do to be able to start taking part in events.

Also, the regulars will be able to get to know your face, and you their's, so if you subsequently turn up at any other events we will be able to recognise each other as CWMC members. With most events these days being non-exclusive, multi-club, events, if you don't make yourself known to us before hand and just turn up to the event, we are likely to assume you are a member from another club if we have never seen you before.

Also, by turning up on committee nights, it is easier for you to spot us in the pub. Please dont be afraid to interrupt if we have already started, new members are more important than paperwork!

Also.... Join the mailing list . Most communication amonst the club members happens via email and the events mailing list. Even the club bulletins are sent out this way now.

Mercia Motor Sports events are supposed to be posted to the MMS web site, but often the event organisers forget to do this and just rely on sending emails to the events mailing list. Keep you eye on the MMS events page anyway, just in case.
