Getting Started
To get started in motor sport we recommend

Join a local motor club (preferably ours)

Come to the club nights, talk to existing members and pick their brains

Marshal on some events to see how they work

Take part in a few low key club only events

Take part in some more competitive group events

Get a National B competiton license from the MSA

Register for some championships, to get on event regs mailing lists

Take part in open National B events
Most people only get this far, but you can go on to do National A and International
events, however, without sponsorship or a lottery win this is beyond most people's
finances.
It is particularly important when trying to get started with rallying that you get
some experience at the lower levels as the navigational side of rallying can be
somewhat esoteric to say the least, and you can't just jump straight into it and
expect to make it up as you go along. |
